Something blue…
Hello Readers, This is Alba one of the members of the Capries Events Team ! I will be guest blogging from time to time as we leave Wedding Season and enter into Engagement Season. It’s only fair that my first blog reveals something personal about me, and I am here to confess, where I come from ( more on that on a later post) on your wedding day there’s no such thing as Something Old, Something New and SOMETHING BLUE but I have grown to love this tradition. That said I think my first blog will be dedicated to your shoe options for SOMETHING BLUE… Whether it’s the infamous Manolo’s Carrie Bradshaw made us fall for, a pair of ballet flats, your options are unlimited.

The 5th Annual Ayuda for the Arts Gala is coming up this November 9th, and I am super proud to be involved with such a great organization. Ayuda which stands for Alliance for Young Urban Design and the Arts is, to quote their mission statement “an alliance dedicated to helping students with a financial need, pursue their education in art related fields. We offer undergraduate scholarships and mentor ship to advance their studies in their chosen field of the arts.”
I love that the scholarships are awarded to any art form, whether it be culinary arts, graphic art, fashion, music etc.. This years event ” A Fashionable Taste of New York” will feature a delicious tastings from some of the finest restaurants in New York and beyond.
